Believe it or not, many "Black" Americans would prefer to be seen as "equal". Equal in every way. And simply not just here in the US, where many of us are aboriginals of this land, long before colonialism swept the world with its hatred, greed, and distorted need for superiority over all others, especially the "Black" communities.
For centuries, America has been deemed the "melting pot of the world" . Unfortunately, that melting pot has burned and singed away the the very essence of our "Black" cultures, leaving many of us to fight for a place we are not truly aware that we have a birth right to.
Meanwhile, as the government fights reluctantly to keep it's foot on our necks as a people, they have one hand writing bad, blank checks to aid other countries and the other hand welcoming immigrants into a broken system that has overlooked Us but is willing to go above and beyond for outside guests.
This is evident by law after law being passed to assist, uplift, and empower immigrants, therefore, taking away from "Black: Americans that have requested the same courtesies which should have never required asking, let alone begging and pleading without resolve.
Questions to engage in (with the purpose of solutions):
1. What US laws are you aware of that are in place to not only assist immigrants but at the same time blatantly dismiss the rights and privileges of it's "Black" citizens?
2. How can we begin to put into motion laws and regulations that ensure the rights and privileges of "Black" Americans are not only granted but also protected?
3. What are (at least) 3 rights/privileges would you want to have addressed during the next local/presidential run? What would you do to ensure they are enforced by government elected officials (regardless of if you voted for them or not...they still have to be accountable to the people).
