Image is from: https://www.blackandmissinginc.com/still-missing-black-women-and-girls-who-havent-come-home-yet/ The image above is just a drop in the bucket for the countless of missing "Black" lives that are unaccounted for as a result of abduction and kidnapping. Though "Blacks" are said to make up only 13% of the population, roughly 40% of missing persons are "Black". So what is happening to our loved ones that disappear and are never to be seen nor heard from again? Well, there are a few speculations on that including the slave trade as well as organ harvesting. Despite the overall negative stigma placed on "Black" people, we seem to be in high demand of our bodies, right down to our nonduplicating melanin. Jealousy will lead one to hate the very thing that they desire to be but are unable to achieve. Hatred, however, will lead one to unthinkable wickedness to the average "godlike" individuals. Now, the Amber Alert was first initiated in 1996 by the Dallas Fort Worth broadcasters teaming up with local police to launch this abduction alert for missing children. AMBER stands for America's Missing" Broadcast Emergency Response. It was created when a nine-year-old ny the name of Amber Hagerman was kidnapped while riding her bike in Arlington, Texas. In April 2023, California Senator Steven Bradford introduced Senate Bill 673, known as "The Ebony Alert" which mirrors the "Amber Alert", with the exception that it is solely focused on recovering missing "Black" children verses ALL children that are missing. While the senator has expressed that the bill points out the blatant oversight and severity of missing "Black" individuals, it should make you ponder why there needs to be a distinction when it comes to anyone missing. The California senator did express that this push came from the recognition that missing "Black" woman and youth are often dismissed with a grand suggestion that the missing person is simply a runaway or a troubled individual and is therefore dismissed as a time sensitive priority to recover these individuals. Would this not indeed suggest that the value of "Black" life is once again viewed in a lower standard in comparison to other race/ethnic groups and if so, why? Below are two links that dive deeper into this conversation. Click on these links to learn a little more. 1.      "Our Black Girls: article by NPR 2.      PBS Missing Black Women Documentary  Here are a few solutions to keeping yourself and your loved ones safe from abduction: 1.      Talk to your children about the importance and the reality of strangers and child abductors. 2.      Pay attention to your surroundings (rather day or night). 3.      Go out (and leave) in groups when out in public settings. 4.      Utilize tracking devises for yourself and your children by way of phone tracking or clothing attachments (tap in to learn more on this). 5.      Find out what resources you have in your community to keep your children safe and engaged. 6.      Report abuse-like behaviors from a partner immediately after a situation to have a criminal claim. 7.      Be aware of who your children are hanging out with and engaging with, including real names (not aliases), addresses, and parent's contact information. 8.      Do not except anything from strangers (it may be laced with a contact sedative). 9.      Learn for yourself and teach your children self-defense tactics. CRT, or Critical Race Theory is a political tactic being used in an attempt to whitewash the racism that has been deeply rooted in the falsehoods of "Black" cultural. It is a phantom dispute brought on by the so called "powers that be" as yet another distraction away from what they call "Black" history, although in reality, it is American history. It is presented in a scare tactic to all society that the truth of "Black" history and culture can somehow harm the feelings of any other race group. It is a ply to pull at the heart strings of "Black" Americans that continue to be faithful in the forgiveness of our long suffering and abuse from this country. We are here to proclaim that anyone's mere feelings hold NO comparison to the reality of the "Black" struggle that has been endured for centuries and is still ongoing. It's as if to say that "Blacks" do not feel; they we do not hurt or suffer, and that is a bold-faced LIE! This is why it is surely important that we first learn our own roots, heritage, and family legacies and pass this knowledge down to our youth! This is what a whole village raising a child looks like. And trust, there is a multitude of youth on up needing to tap into this knowledge! Here are a few ways that we can start properly and proudly educating ourselves and our youth: 1.      Read and research with your children: Take advantage of the web, libraries, and bookstores to read up on resources that offer true history. This would make for good, quality family time! 2.      Educational Family Reunions: Family reunions can be a blast! Make sure to involve our youth and connect them with family they may not know. Bring some history to the table. Take it a step further and set up monthly family zoom meetings to stay connected all year long rather than just once a year. 3.      Family History Books: Gather family information and create a scrap book or "family history book" to share and pass on family knowledge. Ask our team how we can help you publish those books for the whole family to enjoy! 4.      Connecting with your elders and other family members: Tap into your elders now while you still have the opportunity. Pick their brains and discover family history that you may not know! More importantly, remember to pass it on! We would love for you to share any other suggestions on this matter in the comment section! the comment section!

Generational wealth is defined by financial assets that are passed down through families to children, grandchildren, and beyond. This includes, but is not limited to cash, property/land, investments, and so much more. Unfortunately, the "Black" community, as a whole, has not been consistent with this practice. We fail to acknowledge the importance of not only leaving a legacy for our children but also ensuring that we do not leave our loved ones in debt. According to forbes.com, there are five key ways to get on the path of financial freedom and security. They include but are not limited to: 1.      Financial Education: Make sure you have a financial coach to help get & keep you on track to your financial success. 2.      Investing: Learn about the best interest rates available to you when it comes to not just saving but growing your money as well. 3.      Invest In Real Estate: Land ownership is one of the number one money makers! Rather you buy land for the purpose of leaving an estate for your loved ones or making a profit, this is an avenue worth taking seriously. 4.      Saving & Creating A Business: These days, you can create a business with almost any great idea and the consistency to succeed in business. Find out how we can help you explore those options and expand your wealth! 5.      Having Proper Life Insurance: Life protection is a must have for every "Black" family! Ask our team how we can get you properly protected with a financial plan that will benefit you and your loved ones! image from: istockphoto.com We want to express the importance of celebrating sisterly love within our community! For far too long now, Hollywood and mainstream media has dictated, and furthermore, misinterpreted the images of Black women (and the "Black" culture) as a whole. Black women, in particular, have been depicted as drastically overdramatic, men haters, "welfare queens", irresponsibly promiscuous, reckless mothers, baby breeders, "baby mamas", and all sorts of other negative characteristics. We are here to instill in you that Black women are so much more than the negative stereotypes imposed on us. We are strong, beautiful, unique, and full of feminine essence! We are the producers of life! Goddesses in our own rights! These attributes are surely worth celebrating EVERYDAY! Take a moment to share the amazing greatness that YOU recognize in Black women! This is not just an invitation for men but other women as well! Let's get comfortable with celebrating and uplifting one another! We look forward to hearing your positive thoughts in the comment section!

We are here to have the "taboo" discussions that lead to probable, tangible solutions. There must be a reset amongst the "Black" community as a whole if we are going to make it at this point. If you do not believe me, just look around you and start asking yourself some logical questions, realizing that society is presenting you with illogical answers (not even solutions). Just foolish answers that we foolishly go along with day after day. It is a struggle for us all in some way, shape, or form, so no shade. Some people tend to feel the "shade" when cognitive dissonance speaks louder than reason in the room. Meaning, we have the information needed to make sound judgements, yet choose to ignore that very knowledge. So, what must be realized is that we must address some of the issues plaguing our community first and move on to those solutions that we can ALL contribute in offering and being a part of. We can start with the discussion of "Being On Code". What does that mean to us individually? What does it mean collectively for the "Black" community? Think about other cultures and their "codes of conduct". What is it about those other groups to where they are able to thrive in many ways beyond the "Black" community as a whole, when in reality, the gifts, talents, skills, and very essence of "Blackness" was birthed to be the excellence of this world? Let's have that discussion in the forum that will lead to some life-changing solutions. Let's GO! Let's Grow!

Believe it or not, many "Black" Americans would prefer to be seen as "equal". Equal in every way. And simply not just here in the US, where many of us are aboriginals of this land, long before colonialism swept the world with its hatred, greed, and distorted need for superiority over all others, especially the "Black" communities. For centuries, America has been deemed the "melting pot of the world" . Unfortunately, that melting pot has burned and singed away the the very essence of our "Black" cultures, leaving many of us to fight for a place we are not truly aware that we have a birth right to. Meanwhile, as the government fights reluctantly to keep it's foot on our necks as a people, they have one hand writing bad, blank checks to aid other countries and the other hand welcoming immigrants into a broken system that has overlooked Us but is willing to go above and beyond for outside guests. This is evident by law after law being passed to assist, uplift, and empower immigrants, therefore, taking away from "Black: Americans that have requested the same courtesies which should have never required asking, let alone begging and pleading without resolve. Questions to engage in (with the purpose of solutions): 1. What US laws are you aware of that are in place to not only assist immigrants but at the same time blatantly dismiss the rights and privileges of it's "Black" citizens? 2. How can we begin to put into motion laws and regulations that ensure the rights and privileges of "Black" Americans are not only granted but also protected? 3. What are (at least) 3 rights/privileges would you want to have addressed during the next local/presidential run? What would you do to ensure they are enforced by government elected officials (regardless of if you voted for them or not...they still have to be accountable to the people).

We know parenting can be tough. And there are different dynamics within each family when it comes to raising children. No one really ever has all the right answers. I believe that most decent parents collectively try to bring their children up right, hoping that they will turn out more successful than previous generations. When it comes to "Black' parenting in the US, however, it seems as though there is a weighted burden added to our individual experiences as parents that leaves many of us to feel targeted in everything, including parenting. Our strong family structure is in disarray with the consistent aid of those that claim to run the world along with the destructive propaganda from main stream sources such as music, television, and social media. This, removing our men, spouses, and fathers out of the home. Our children are in danger of the school to prison pipeline system that has hindered many of them from achieving their highest level of creative success for their adulthood. They can't pray in school anymore but we can't tell them not to teach our children about oral sex. As parents, we can't correct our children with love but the police can kill them as if they are above the law. So here is my question(s) to you: 1. How do we as parents lawfully take back control over the well-being of our children? 2. How do we lawfully protect our children from the corruption being taught in the school systems? 3. How can we begin to rebuild and secure strong, healthy "Black" families? 4. What steps can be taken to properly educate our children about our/their history to where it remains a part of who they are throughout their lives?
